I have two GMail accounts, both of them set up as IMAP accounts in Outlook 2016 (Mac). One of the accounts works fine: within Outlook I can receive and send emails, delete and file them, change their read or unread status, etc., and all of these changes are reflected on the GMail server. The other account, my default account, is much more patchy. Outlook will receive emails, will send emails, will delete emails from the server, and will change the read/unread status. But if I file an email (e.g. Into All Mail), although that email disappears from my Outlook inbox, Outlook does not update the GMail server, and the email remains stubbornly in the inbox. I've got this GMail account working fine over IMAP using both Apple Mail and Postbox, and in those clients everything works absolutely as it should do.
It's just a problem in Outlook - and as I said, it's only a problem with this particular account: my other account behaves properly. I've twice deleted and recreated the account, but that didn't produce a better result.

I'd be really grateful if there's a solution to this. I'm running Outlook 2016 (v15.19.1) on a MacBook Air (El Capitan 10.11.3).
